Paper Sanctuary/London Design Biennale 2023
The Humanitarian Pavilion at London Design Biennale 2023 presented the Paper Partition System (PPS) by Japanese Pritzker-Prize-winning architect and humanitarian Shigeru Ban.
Transforming any space into a site for shelter, privacy, dignity and spirit, for victims of disaster and now refugees of war. A project in collaboration with Ukrainian novelist, literary translator and a winner in The Paris Literary Prize Svetlana Lavochkina, photographer Vincent Haiges and Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov.
