Postcards from Bagdad

If you could send a picture from Bagdad, where would you stand? How would you finish the sentence “from Bagdad with….”?

Postcards from Bagdad is a portrait series of citizens from Bagdad in front of historical places. The places, strangely isolated and surrounded by a rapid growing and fast changing urban city, are a remainder of its rich historical part but also its troubled recent history. Foreign Visitors are rare to find, leaving historical places strangely empty.
